Sakura App Studio ("we", "us"), developer of Korean Journey, helps you learn the Korean language. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
We use your data to provide and personalize lessons, sync progress across sessions, maintain streaks and statistics, send the notifications you opt into, fix crashes, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics) as our backend provider. Their handling of data is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Korean Journey may display ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may use your device's advertising identifier (AD ID) and limited usage data. Where required (e.g. in the EEA/UK), we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, using Google's consent message. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings. We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Privacy & Account → Delete Account, or by emailing koreanjourney.support@gmail.com. See our Data Deletion page for details.
Korean Journey is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us.
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent. Exercise these in-app or by emailing us.
